Position Title: Research Associate II in CytologyWork Location: Tucson, AZ, 85755Assignment Duration: 24 MonthsWork Arrangement: On-sitePosition Summary :Conduct research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experimentation to support the client projects.This involves designing, executing, and interpreting experiments and applying technical expertise toward project strategies.Background & Context :Conduct research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experimentation to support the client projects.Key Responsibilities :* Design and execute experimental protocols with minimal supervision, including making observations and analyzing data.* Prepare and present technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses; maintain complete and accurate records.* Troubleshoot problems and institute corrective actions.* Work collaboratively in a team environment by providing creative solutions and input to project planning.* Contribute to process improvement suggestions and assist in identifying patentable inventions.* Train colleagues and monitor work to ensure quality and continuous adherence to the Quality First Time principle.* Exercise judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for complex problems.Qualification & Experience :* Education: Bachelor's Degree in Science.* Experience: 2-4 years of relevant post-college job experience.* Technical Skills: Proficiency in a range of specialized laboratory techniques, capable of searching scientific literature, and skilled with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.* Soft Skills: Good communication, meticulous attention to detail, coachable, and a proven ability and desire to learn.* Preferred (Nice to Have): Experience handling cytology specimens and preparing cytology slides using the Hologic T2000 or the BD Totalys.
