About Us  This short-term retail pop-up is part of a Los Angeles residency by the team from noma in Copenhagen. The retail offering serves as an adjacent extension of the dining experience, providing guests with thoughtfully curated products connected to the work of the kitchen and fermentation lab. We are seeking a service-oriented individual to support the shop with warmth and passion. Overview  The Retail Specialist plays a key role in delivering an elevated retail experience that complements the culinary pop-up. This position bridges hospitality and retail, supporting daily operations through precise service, respect for product, and attentive guest interactions. The role ensures the retail space reflects the same standards of quality, discipline, and presentation found throughout the broader brand experience. Core Responsibilities Welcome guests with professionalism and provide informed, attentive assistance with retail offerings. Communicate product information clearly and thoughtfully, situating items within the broader culinary experience when appropriate. Process transactions efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system. Maintain pristine, well-organized retail displays and service areas. Handle all products with care, following proper storage, labeling, and packaging standards. Prepare and package retail items to presentation standards. Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to leadership. Support daily setup, service flow, and breakdown of the retail space. Maintain cleanliness and order throughout retail and adjacent service areas. Assist with additional service or operational tasks as needed during service. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities We are seeking individuals with 1-2 years of experience in luxury retail, fine dining, or similarly high-touch service environments, who demonstrate: Exceptional attention to detail and presentation. Clear, composed, and professional communication. Confidence paired with discretion and restraint. Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced, high-standard environment. Collaborative mindset and respect for shared standards. Health & Safety Understanding of high-end retail or hospitality service expectations. Ability to follow procedures and maintain consistency. Strong organizational skills and transactional accuracy. Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards. Must have or obtain a California Food Handler’s Certification Work Environment Involves standing and walking the entire shift Involves holding objects with hands  Involves reaching, bending, and stooping frequently  Involves lifting, moving, and carrying at least 25 pounds with frequency throughout the shift More detail about noma LA, please visit
