We're looking for a dependable and motivated student to join our team as a Mechanic Youth Apprentice. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn mechanical skills by working alongside our experienced Mechanic. If you've taken shop classes, enjoy working with tools, and want to start a career in the trades, we'd love to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with basic inspections, repairs, and maintenance on trailers, trucks, and equipmentLearn to perform routine tasks like oil changes, tire checks, and fluid checksKeep the shop, tools, and work areas clean and organizedSupport the mechanic with day-to-day tasks and ongoing repairsLearn how to safely use tools and equipmentQualificationsHigh school studentCompletion of shop classes or hands-on mechanical experience requiredInterest in mechanics, equipment, or working with your handsWillingness to learn, take direction, and grow skillsReliable, hardworking, and a team playerBasic problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to lift, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders as needed
