Dedicated to the details, our expertise ensures a perfect career opportunity match for each of our candidates and a seamless experience for our customer.Job DescriptionPerforms NDT Level II inspections using the Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant testing methods on items including, but not limited to wheels using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer, FAA, or company standard practicesMaintain certifications (MT, ET, PT Level II) and perform these methods on any articlesUtilize methods such as fluorescent penetrantWork from detailed procedures, technique sheets, verbal, and other pertinent instructions to process parts for nondestructive testing and complete required record keeping.Set-up, operate and perform Process Control Checks on NDT equipment by following established instructions and record resultsInterpret, evaluate, and report on NDT test resultsPerforms wheel breakdown, stripping, cleaning and build back to RTSDemonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude without compromising qualityEnsure work is performed in accordance with the applicable technical dataPresents a clean and neat work area to customers facility cleanliness and general housekeepingPerforms other duties as assignedJob RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of current experience in non-destructive testing within an aerospace environment preferredCurrently or previously certified to NDT Level II in Eddy Current, Liquid Penetrant, Mag Particle Testing in accordance with NAS-410Must have documented hours for Training & Experience per NAS-410 Level IIAbility to lift 80-100 pounds as needed, standing and bending for continuous periods of timeKnowledge of repair station procedures and use of paperwork in relation to repair documentationAbility to work on all lines and products independently and provide guidance to team members on all parts and processes within the DepartmentAirframe & Powerplant Certificate (preferred)Current and valid Drivers LicenseAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionJet Aviation provides equal employment and affirmative action opportunities to applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability.Equal Employment Opportunity has been, and will continue to be, a fundamental principle at Jet Aviation, where individuals are hired, employed, recognized, and advance based upon their individual skills and abilities and without regard to an individuals race, color, national origin, age, religion, physical or mental disability status, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, transgender status, genetic information, marital status, pregnancy (including childbirth, lactation and related medical conditions), status as a protected veteran or any status or characteristic protected from employment discrimination under applicable federal, state and local laws (EEO status).
