Head of Business Development
POSITION SUMMARY
The Head of Business Development will be responsible for growing and retaining internal Sales Representatives and revenue streams, identifying and acting on opportunities to increase exposure in relevant markets and maximize gross margins, participating in networking events and other business generating events, and interfacing with internal and external business functions.

OBJECTIVES
● Achieve growth and sales targets by successfully developing the sales team in
alignment with the overall business strategy
● Develop and implement a process that will streamline the sales cycle
● Responsible for the attainment and execution of revenue & profit targets
● Partner with individual sales reps to understand their business needs and objectives
● Duplicate success through process documentation and training program creation
● Expand sales department in number of representatives and total revenue volume
● Coordinate with marketing to support specific sales objectives
● Make recommendations on marketing tactics to increase brand recognition
● Deliver on target results as an individual contributor and as a manager of a team
● Conduct group trainings on the full Product Suite
● Ensure consistency of PAL-CON, Ltd.’s brand across sales team
● Conduct recurring leadership development conversations, developing/coaching team members including bi weekly 1:1s, effectively determining incentive payout, and giving transformational performance feedback
COMPETENCIES
● Has experience in compressor station auxiliary equipment, regenerators, exhaust
systems, piping systems, power generation, and refinery equipment sales
● Has a current book of business that can be integrated into our client base on day one.
● Ability to clearly define our value proposition, identify sales targets, and develop scalable
methods to measure performance
● Financial acumen in order to use overall revenue targets to create individual cash
targets
● Has knowledge of manufacturing, Midstream, metal fabrication, and/or power
generation experience.

● Ability to influence prospective motivated clients.
● Ability to consistently hit sales targets in order to set an example to the team
● Strong work ethics to sustain our well-forged links with existing clients and attract
new ones.
● Able to ensure the Sales Team consistently meets revenue objectives and
performance metrics.
● Be clear and concise in communicating in developing networks, facilitating
presentations, evaluating projects, advising clients, and following up on projects.
● Ability to successfully see through multiple projects at once.
● Must have advanced knowledge of electronic media, Microsoft Office Suite, and
internal CRM
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
● 3-5 years of relevant Business Development Management experience
● High School Diploma
● 1-2 years’ experience managing remote teams
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
● Requires excess amounts of sitting, looking at a computer
