Mentor Protege Program Manager
For our client, we are seeking a Mentor Protege Program Manager to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.This role will oversee a Mentor-Protégé program designed to strengthen supplier relationships, expand capabilities, and support compliance across a complex defense-oriented organization. The Program Manager will partner with government customers, internal business teams, and supplier stakeholders to drive proposal development, reporting, and execution against program objectives. This position also plays a key role in identifying qualified supplier partners and helping advance subcontracting opportunities that support broader business goals.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $132,400 – $251,600 annuallyResponsibilities Foster long-term partnerships by enhancing the capabilities of protégé firms Collaborate with government customers to ensure compliance with Mentor-Protégé agreements and prepare required reports Lead the development and preparation of Mentor-Protégé proposals and Basis of Estimates (BOEs) Encourage subcontracting with protégé companies across the organization Manage contracts, budgets, and schedules to meet deadlines and objectives Work with Supplier Management Commodities and Strategic Business Units to identify potential suppliers for mentorshipQualifications University degree or equivalent experience with at least 10 years in a related field, or an advanced degree with 7 years of experience Proven management skills with experience in team performance tracking Deep understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related supplements, especially in regard to mentorship programs Must be able to obtain DoD clearance and have flexibility for travel as needed Proficient in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Benefits Commitment to company values like Trust, Respect, Accountability, Collaboration, and Innovation Potential for flexible work schedules and remote work options Robust health and wellness programs including medical, dental, and vision insurance Career development opportunities such as educational assistance and achievement awards Comprehensive leave policies including parental leave for all parentsOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
