Sacramento Senior Sales Consultant/Territory Lead
As a Senior Sales Consultant/Territory Lead for Evolution Surgical 90% of your time is focused on outside sales selling innovative Arthrex orthopedic and sports medicine products. The Senior Sales Consultant/Territory Lead is responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within his or her team’s assigned territory. You must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through excellent communications and in person appointments. This position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of our market leading product portfolio. You will be consulting with surgeons in the operating room regarding the use of our implants and instrumentsDuties and Responsibilities of Senior Sales Consultant/Territory Lead:Represent Arthrex Bay Area while working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.Manage, participate in, and responsible for call scheduleDevelop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed territory objectives and goals.Increase territory volume by identifying new sales opportunities and develop necessary sales plans to develop new business,Cultivate and maintain an excellent rapport with clients to nurture longstanding relationships,Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding product updates, changes to product portfolio, new techniques and educational programs.Maintain an accurate proprietary customer relationship management (CRM) database, which includes: forecasting, lead generation and account maintenance.Ongoing training in sales skills, product features/benefits, hospital protocols, and other organizational requirements.Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required.Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.If corrective lenses are required per DMV, they must be worn when working.Responsibly maintain inventory of consigned products.Maintain credentialing requirements for ongoing access to all accounts.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degreeBackground in Orthopedic Sports Medicine device sales with 5+ years of demonstrated success.2+ years of Trauma Experience PreferredAptitude to lead, organize and inspire a sales teamDemonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine marketHistory of quota attainment and track record of proven leadershipMust be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments.Desire to learn and command a high level of technical information, anatomy, and indications as it relates to surgery and procedures,Relevant customer relationships in the greater Sacramneto areaKnowledge and Skill Requirements:Current Driver’s license with clear motor vehicle record,Access to your own transportation,Clear drug screen,Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, ERP system experience.
