Maintenance Technician
SummaryThe Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining safe, functional, and efficient building operations across multiple facilities. This role performs hands-on building maintenance, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and infrastructure support within warehouse and manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with general building systems, repairs, and facility support operations in an industrial setting.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerform general facility maintenance including lighting, minor electrical work, plumbing repairs, and basic building repairsSupport preventative maintenance activities for building systems and facility equipment Experience with Programmable Logic Controller systems required, including ability to troubleshoot automation issues, read ladder logic, and support secondary operations equipment.Conduct routine inspections of building conditions and identify maintenance or safety concerns proactivelyMaintain warehouse infrastructure including racking, workstations, office setups, and facility layout changesAssist with installation and relocation of desks, fixtures, shelving, and equipmentCoordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs, maintenance, and facility servicesTroubleshoot and resolve general maintenance issues in a timely mannerEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and company policiesMaintain organized maintenance records and communicate completed work as neededRespond to daily maintenance requests across assigned facilities Support general facility appearance and operational readinessFollows all safety, housekeeping and company policies and proceduresCoordinates and maintains all job responsibilities in a continuous and flexible manner and performs other related duties and job assignments as requiredQUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
