The ideal candidate should have the following:
The Attorney I position will review to identify outdated materials regarding all housing, eviction, unlawful detainer, emergency rental assistance, and other housing and homelessness prevention issues contained on the Judicial Council's the SHMOODLE learning platform. This position will work with the lead CFCC Web Content attorney to ensure that the standard protocol is using defined design standards and conveying legally accurate information in language comprehensible to self represented litigants, enabling then to move forward with their cases
Responsibilities
Position Duties and Responsibilities
1. Legal review to identify outdated materials regarding all housing, eviction, unlawful detainer, emergency rental assistance, and other housing and homelessness prevention issues contained on the Judicial Council's the SHMOODLE learning platform.
2. Responsibility for accuracy of legal content, including procedural content, on the SHMOODLE learning platform. All material must meet accessibility requirement and work effectively on mobile devices.
3. Work with the lead attorney responsible for programming the Hot Docs document assembly program to update all forms necessary for meeting compliance.
4. Work with the lead CFCC Web Content attorney to ensure that the standard protocol is using defined design standards and conveying legally accurate information in language comprehensible to self represented litigants, enabling then to move forward with their cases.
5. Provide legal subject matter expertise to ensure legal accuracy of the SHMOODLE learning platform.
Required Skills, Licenses, Certifications and Education (Include Preferred Skills in parentheses):
A member in good standing in the California Bar. Preference for attorneys with recent experience handling unlawful detainer, eviction, emergency rental assistance, and other housing related legal issues.
Desirable experience and skills include:
A member in good standing in the California Bar.
Preference for attorneys with recent experience handling unlawful detainer, eviction, emergency rental assistance, and other housing related legal issues.
Familiarity with SharePoint.
San Francisco or Sacramento location.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $80.00 per hour
