Job DescriptionGeneral Labor - Precast Concrete ManufacturingHours & LocationSchedule: Monday-FridayHours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMLunch: 30-minute unpaid breakWorksite: Manufacturing facility in the Garfield Heights areaMost work is indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks as needed Pay & Employment Path Starting Pay: $23.00 per hour to $25.00 per hourEmployment Type: Contract-to-hireThis position is a long-term opportunity with raises based on attendance, performance, and skill developmentPosition Overview This General Labor role supports the production of precast concrete products used throughout Northeast Ohio in public spaces, commercial properties, and infrastructure projects. Employees assist with mold preparation, concrete mixing and pouring, material handling, and staging finished products for shipment.This is a physically demanding, hands-on role best suited for individuals who enjoy active work, working with their hands, and being part of a tight-knit production team. New hires will work alongside experienced team members and receive hands-on training across all job functions.Job ResponsibilitiesSet up, clean, and prepare casting molds for productionMix and pour concrete into molds according to process standardsEnsure concrete is evenly distributed within moldsLift, move, and transport raw materials and finished productsStage materials and finished goods using pallet jacks, forklifts, and overhead cranesFill large metal containers with concrete mix as requiredTag, stack, and palletize finished products for shipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaAssist with other shop duties as needed based on production demandsRequired Qualifications Previous experience in concrete-related work is requiredAbility to perform heavy physical labor throughout the entire shiftComfortable lifting, bending, standing, and working on your feet all dayWillingness to learn processes and follow detailed instructionsStrong commitment to safety and teamworkDependable attendance and ability to work independently once trainedPhysical & Environmental Requirements Frequent lifting of 50+ lbsContinuous standing, walking, bending, and reachingAbility to work in varying temperatures and weather conditionsComfort working in a smaller, hands-on shop environmentDress Code & Safety Jeans and t-shirt requiredSteel-toed boots requiredSafety equipment provided as needed
