Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description An international plant-based food manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic. At least 2 years of experience as a mechanic (food manufacturing preferred but not required)All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.$25 - 28/hr. Plus full benefitsMonday, Wednesday – Saturday 07:00 a.m. – 04:00 p.m. (Tuesday and Sunday off)During probation Monday – Friday 08:00 a.m. – 05:00 p.m. (if possible)Somerset, NJRequirements of the Maintenance Mechanic:High school diploma required; technical school preferredAt least 2 years of manufacturing mechanic experienceSkills in plumbing, wiring, welding, and drillingAble to lift up to 50 lbsStrong problem‐solving and multitaskingGood communication, logic, and attention to detailAble to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematicsExperience replacing motors, belts, bearings, pulleys, sprockets, chains, cylinders, etc.Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and TeamsResponsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic:Follow safety rules; keep work area cleanPerform preventive maintenance; troubleshoot machineryRead and complete work ordersImprove equipment efficiencySupervise, train, and support staffWork well with team members and other departmentsManage parts, inventory, vendors, and contractorsMaintain and repair facility equipment and systemsDocument maintenance work and track equipment dataDevelop maintenance plans and meet targetsWear required PPEParticipate in committeesEmployment Type: Direct HireSchedule: Monday, Wednesday – Saturday 07:00 a.m. – 04:00 p.m. (Tuesday and Sunday off)During probation, Monday – Friday 08:00 a.m. – 05:00 p.m. (if possible)Production maintenance, facility maintenance, preventive maintenance, motors, belts, bearings, pulleys, sprockets, chains, cylinders, troubleshoot machineryCompany DescriptionTriCom Quest is a full-service employment agency serving the greater Los Angeles area.
