In this role, you will be working as a Mechanical Structural Engineering Manager for a client in the manufacturing industry. This position will be responsible for management of the structural and mechanical design projects and department. This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site. Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Mechanical Engineering Technology 6+ years of experience as a team lead or supervisor Experience with AutoCAD and 3D CAD (Inventor or Solidworks) Responsible for assigning resources for various engineering projects and developing those resources to meet company needs Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the structural portuion of a design Select, develop and evaluate engineering personnel to ensure department operations Manage and oversee analysis, testing and feasibility studies Understands codes and standards including UFC, IBC, ANSI and ASCE #VIS
