Software Engineer (Java)Our client, an education services company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join their team, hit the ground running, and help drive to success. This will be a permanent position. The employee will work remotely until COVID restrictions are lifted. Their office is in Glen Allen, VA. Snapshot of the client: Began as a start up and their wild success got the attention of a large well-known company, who acquired them about 5 years ago. Building and perfecting a product that helps universities and colleges attract and retain students and engage alumni. Cutting edge technology used for this web-based and data intensive products. What will you do? Full stack development in Java, Angular or React preferred. Will participate in design/architecture, complete new development along with supporting the existing product (providing enhancements and new features) Work alongside a very talented and well respected technology team! Required Skills At least 3 years of Java development experience. Various levels of positions from 3-10+ years of experience. Experience with Angular/React or similar frameworks and technologies Interest in cloud technology, AWS preferred Experience with Agile development methods, especially Scrum Experience delivering and maintaining software Ability to adapt to change and a commitment to excellence and quality Why consider this position?
