RPG/iSeries Application Programmer

Job Title: Senior IBM (AS/400/iSeries) Application & Data SpecialistLocation: Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, or North Dakota Duration: Long TermClient: DirectThis person will work to migrate data and workloads from our current system to new cloud platform. They will take direction from business unit on what needs to be accomplished and validate the data is in the correct structure.Required Skills: 1. This role is focused on stabilizing legacy system support while enabling successful data and knowledge transfer to the future-state TPA platform.2. RPG, RPGLE, CL, DB2 for iSeries, Query/400, and legacy reporting3. Custom IBM i application support4. Batch processing, job scheduling, system commands, and security administration5. Audit support, data retention, and historical data extraction
