About Our ClientThe organization operates in the software and technology industry, providing custom software, cloud, data, and AI solutions that help organizations address complex business challenges.With more than 30 years of experience, the company supports educational and other organizations through data-driven platforms and collaborative technology solutions designed to create meaningful organizational impact.About the OpportunityThe Reports Developer will help migrate the organization’s reporting environment from Informer to modern, scalable platforms such as Report Center (Prism) and Power BI.This role combines report development, SQL expertise, data validation, and stakeholder collaboration to modernize reporting capabilities, expand self-service analytics, and improve access to reliable business data.Responsibilities• Analyze existing Informer reports to understand business logic, data sources, and intended use.• Rebuild Informer reports in Report Center (Prism) or Power BI.• Develop self-service reports in Report Center (Prism) to provide greater flexibility for end users.• Create custom Power BI reports and data models using custom HRP tables not available in Report Center.• Write and optimize SQL queries across Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle.• Validate migrated reports against original reports to ensure data accuracy and completeness.• Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, prioritize the migration backlog, and manage expectations.• Document report logic, data lineage, and migration decisions to support future maintenance.• Identify opportunities to simplify, improve, or consolidate reports during migration.Requirements• Experience developing reports or dashboards using Power BI, Sigma, or similar business intelligence tools.• Strong SQL skills with Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle.• Ability to translate business reporting requirements into effective technical designs.• Ability to work independently with limited documentation and proactively identify and resolve information gaps.• Experience managing report migration projects with defined backlogs and priorities.Preferred Qualifications• Experience with SSIS or Apache Airflow for data orchestration.• Familiarity with Report Center or Prism.• Experience with HRP systems or HR data models.• Experience integrating AI tools into reporting development or workflows.• Background in data migration or legacy system decommissioning projects.Pay Range and Compensation Package• $70,000 - $120,000 per year.Benefits & Perks• Fully remote work environment.• Flexible time off.• Medical, dental, and vision insurance.• 401(k) with company match.• Company-paid life and disability insurance.• Professional development opportunities.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
