As a Software Engineer Sr, you will work within a Scaled Agile Scrum team comprised of business representatives and IT employees to complete software development based on functional specs. Your responsibilities will include the following:Monitor Ariba, Product Sourcing and Quotation Management processes to proactively identify and reduce riskTriage and/or work O&M Incidents and requestsCarrying out unit testing activitiesExtract, analyze, and interpret SAP table data to diagnose issues and assess impactReviewing functional specifications to ensure specifications meet needs for technical specification creationEstimating assigned tasks and work assignments and participate in estimation of emerging requirementsIdentify root causes of recurring problems; design and implement corrective actionsServe as a subject‐matter expert for the Ariba product team and liaise with other product teamsManage multiple build projects from requirements gathering through implementation, including functional spec writing, developer collaboration, and testingCompleting technical designs for existing and emerging requirements, as assignedCompleting SAP software developmentPreparing documentation to support software life-cycle requirements and milestone reviewsEnsuring software standards are met** This role requires US Citizenship due to program access#EBDTPlans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
