Experience with MRI safety guidelines. Ability to start IVs. Familiarity with standard acquisition sequences for MRI scanning. Description: The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI scans on patients. The role includes working with outpatients, inpatients, and emergency department patients. The technologist must have experience with GE MRI equipment. Knowledge of MRI safety protocols is essential. The position requires the ability to start IVs for contrast administration. The MRI Technologist will collaborate with a Registered Radiology Assistant during shifts. Shifts will typically follow a 12-hour schedule, with three days per week. Weekend coverage once per month may be required, along with possible holiday shifts. Standard solid-colored scrubs are to be worn, with the requirement that tattoos are covered.
