Polyols Territory Account Manager

Midwest Territory Account ManagerThis is a remote opportunity working from a home office. The territory for this position is the Midwestern regions of the United States. Therefore, the selected candidate must reside near this region.Company car, laptop, and company credit card included. Must have experience with polyurethane. This account territory calls on automotive, spray foam accounts, and general industrial. Additional responsibilities as Account Manager will include:Develop and implement territory and customer growth plansManage and build relationships with existing customersIdentify and establish relationships with new customersEnsure alignment of asset capabilities to customer / market needsAdministers sales policies and programs to meet sales and profit goalsBring innovative solutions to customers & marketsPromote and sell custom product offeringsUse consultative selling and interpersonal skills to build trust and strong relationships with customers across the value chainProvide reliable feedback on marketplace and industry trendsAssess competitive activities and assist in the development of appropriate counter measuresPlan and manage multiple tasksSkills/ RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline7+ years of experience in a territory sales, marketing, or technical role with the urethane or related chemical industriesOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with a variety of customers at all levels of an organization via in-person, telephone, and virtual conversationsMust have basic computer skills and intermediate MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPointSuccessful record of working in an autonomous environmentAbility to travel within the assigned territory up to 50%
