The Punch Press role requires a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to detail. This position is responsible for producing plastic components in line with established procedures using a punch press. The individual must be able to adjust machine settings as needed to ensure parts are completed accurately, meet specifications, and are produced within required timeframes.Responsibilities:Set up and verify press/punch equipment to ensure proper operation and consistent product qualityLoad parts into the machine, activate foot pedal, and remove finished piecesMaintain material levels at the workstation to support continuous productionConduct routine checks during production runs to confirm output meets standardsInspect finished components for any defects or irregularitiesComplete additional tasks as directed by supervisionJob Requirements:Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing, pulling, and moving itemsRepetitive motions during shiftFrequent standing (up to but not limited to 8hrs). Requires moving around the plant to perform dutiesAbility to visually verify parts for quality due to set punch specificationsUse of equipment & toolsWear required safety equipment when appropriate/necessary/requiredMust be able to use hands to handle or touch objects, tools, or controls
