The Portfolio Management Office is evolving to become a trusted partner that provides visibility, alignment, and measurable outcomes across technology portfolios.We are seeking an experienced Project Manager 2 to support Information Technology initiatives across areas such as Infrastructure, Security, and Workforce Technology. In this role, you will collaborate with senior IT stakeholders while leading complex projects that enhance business capabilities.Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and overseeing activities across one or more project teams through the full project lifecycle-from discovery and design through implementation and transition. You will partner with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives, identify required resources, develop detailed project plans, and provide regular status updates. Additionally, you will proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, recommend solutions, and work with leadership to ensure successful delivery.This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional to leverage strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to drive impactful technology initiatives.QualificationsRequiredAuthorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship requirementsMust reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or the surrounding area5+ years of IT-related project management experienceExperience leading teams using Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative methodologiesDemonstrated ability to deliver high-profile programs and projectsStrong understanding of project management principles across the full lifecycle (planning through implementation and support)Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience overseeing large-scale, complex initiatives, including planning, organizing, and leading project activitiesWorking knowledge of technical systems, including servers, storage, databases, middleware, and networkingStrong analytical skills and familiarity with project management tools and techniquesAbility to operate effectively in ambiguous environmentsProven leadership, accountability, and results-oriented mindsetStrong facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skillsTrack record of delivering projects on time and within budgetExperience with resource management across project portfoliosCommitment to incorporating security considerations into all aspects of workPreferredBachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Project Management, or a related fieldExperience managing projects across multiple industries or organizational environmentsEverforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
