Project Estimators work directly with the Owner, Design Team, and Project Management.Duties and Responsibilities:Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other construction documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projectsCompute estimate costs for materials purchased and/or leased equipment, subcontracted work, production activities and requirements, and laborPrepare budget estimates and schedulesPerform Value ManagementDevelop procurement strategiesDevelop subcontractor/supplier relationshipsSolicit Trade Partner proposalsPrepare and execute subcontractsPrepare final contract estimateQualifications and Experience:Five years commercial construction experience as a Project Estimator preferred but not requiredProficient in Destiny (Beck Technology) Estimating Software preferred but not requiredProficient computer skills in Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent listening skills and strong verbal and written communication skillsActive participant in a team environmentStrong communication and organizational skills
