Your technical expertise as a Lab Tech I in the area of buffers and solutions will contribute to our client's innovative therapies which will impact the quality and duration of life.Job Description The Biologics Drug Product Development group develops antibody drug conjugates (Client) and other biologics by state-of-the-art formulation and analytical technologies. We create valuable intellectual property through new formulation compositions and prepare and defend CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control) regulatory content. We are looking for a person to support laboratory activities, preparing and keeping it ready for experiments while following proper laboratory safety protocols. Qualifications High school diploma with STEM background and 1-2 years' experience in a laboratory setting like during a college chemistry or biology class OR BS in a scientific field with no experience Key Responsibilities Include Prepare buffers and solutions required for experiments. Stock/replenish/reorder lab supplies and chemical reagents General housekeeping of lab equipment Follow proper safety protocols which includes, but not limited to the proper disposal of biohazard and/or chemical waste and wearing personal protective equipment Key Competencies The candidate must be able to work in a scientific laboratory setting with strong attention to safety, cleanliness and organization. The candidate must be able to perform simple scientific tasks like pH and volumetric measurements, mathematical calculations, unit conversions, etc. The candidate must be able to work independently and be able to follow directions. The candidate should possess good communication and documentation skills, be able to lift weights and work with hazardous chemicals. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
