Assistant Professor of Nursing

The University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time (12 month), tenure-track faculty position in the Holzer School of Nursing for in-person classes. The priority need for expertise is inOB/Pediatrics and Medical-Surgical Nursing. Academic rank (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) will be based on qualifications.Rio is seeking an experienced nurse educator with a record of teaching in RN-BSN and ADN programs. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to working effectively with students, faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds.The standard load is 24 hours per academic year with additional responsibilities to include student advising/mentoring, participation in departmental activities, scholarship/research, and/or University or community service.
