Its solutions are relied upon by global enterprises to secure sensitive information.The Chief Operating Officer / General Manager will lead day-to-day operations and ensure disciplined execution aligned with the company’s strategic and value objectives. This role is accountable for Apricorn’s operational performance and financial results.Key responsibilities include setting strategy and operating plans; driving consistent year-over-year revenue growth; protecting and improving profitability; and strengthening operational rigor. The role will also enhance process maturity, scalability, and cross-functional alignment to support sustained growth and seamless integration with future strategic opportunities.QualificationsProven senior operator with experience scaling small to mid-sized organizationsStrong financial and analytical skills with a track record of growth and margin disciplineDemonstrated commercial and sales leadership experience, including partnering with Sales to build pipeline discipline, improve forecasting, and drive revenue performance (direct and/or channel/partner models)Experience leading or overseeing HR functions, including talent development, performance management, and organizational designAbility to build repeatable processes, reporting, and management cadenceExperience operating in environments requiring operational maturity and integration readinessExceptional leadership, judgment, and communication capabilitiesBachelor’s degree required; MBA preferredExperience in technology, hardware, data security, or regulated industries strongly preferredThere is some flexibility in this role, but will require on-site time, working closely with the CEO, Board, and leadership team in San Diego.
