Our work spans long-term care, pediatrics, home care, menu development, and more.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to oversee dietary operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support quality nutrition care for residents. This role requires a balance of clinical knowledge and foodservice management expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct resident screening and collect nutrition-related data as assignedComplete MDS, CAAs, and develop individualized care plans addressing nutrition risksOversee food purchasing, production, service, and sanitation practicesEnsure compliance with food safety standards and prevent foodborne illnessManage dietary department operations including staffing, budgeting, and cost controlMonitor food quality and ensure residents receive adequate nutritionCollaborate with clinical teams and facility leadershipProvide training and guidance to dietary staffLead and represent the dietary department during state and federal surveysQualificationsCompletion of an ANFP-approved Dietary Manager program, OR Degree in Foodservice Management, Nutrition, Culinary Arts, or related field, OR Equivalent combination of education, training, or military experienceCurrent Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential (required) with minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care.Experience with MDS, CAAs, and care planningStrong organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsExperience in foodservice management preferredWhy Join Us?Competitive payFlexible work opportunitiesProfessional development and trainingCareer growth across diverse healthcare settings
