Tech Stack Advisor and Gatekeeper

CHAI ACS is seeking a skilled volunteer to help strengthen our nonprofit technology infrastructure and guide key platform transitions. We are looking for someone experienced in nonprofit IT systems, Microsoft for Nonprofits, and website/domain management who can serve as a trusted advisor while helping us implement practical solutions. Key Responsibilities Assist with setting up and optimizing our Microsoft for Nonprofits charity account Help evaluate and manage access, permissions, and administrative controls Support migration or transfer of website hosting and related services from GoDaddy to Microsoft or a more strategic long-term environment Review current tech stack and recommend secure, cost-effective improvements Help establish organized systems for email, file storage, collaboration, and user management Guide cybersecurity basics, backups, and best practices Serve as a strategic thought partner for future technology growth Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, or Microsoft for Nonprofits Familiarity with domains, DNS, hosting transfers, and website administration Strong troubleshooting and communication skillsExperience supporting nonprofits, small businesses, or mission-driven organizations preferred Able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical leadership About Us CHAI ACS is a community-based nonprofit focused on serving seniors, families, and culturally diverse communities through advocacy, resource navigation, and community programs.
