This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities to guide teams in building scalable, efficient, and future-ready data architectures. Key Responsibilities  •  Lead the end-to-end architecture and execution of ETL migration from legacy systems to modern data platforms (e.g., cloud-based or next-generation data ecosystems).  •  Define and enforce architectural standards, frameworks, and best practices for data engineering and integration.  •  Design scalable, high-performance data pipelines and workflows to support enterprise-level data processing.  •  Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers, ETL developers, and cross-functional teams.  •  Evaluate and implement next-generation ETL and data integration technologies.  •  Develop automation strategies to streamline data workflows, deployment, and monitoring.  •  Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data architecture solutions.  •  Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across all data platforms.  •  Drive innovation in data architecture, including adoption of modern tools, patterns, and methodologies. Required Qualifications  •  8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.  •  Strong expertise in database systems (relational and/or NoSQL) and data modeling.  •  Proven experience with ETL design, development, and migration from legacy systems.  •  Hands-on experience with modern ETL/data integration tools and frameworks (e.g., cloud-native pipelines, distributed processing).  •  Deep understanding of large-scale data processing and performance optimization.  •  Experience designing and implementing data architecture frameworks and standards.  •  Strong knowledge of automation, orchestration, and CI/CD practices in data environments.  •  Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical decision-making.  •  Experience on ETL informatica Preferred Qualifications  •  Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).  •  Familiarity with data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse architectures.  •  Experience with streaming data technologies and real-time processing.  •  Strong understanding of data governance and regulatory compliance.  •  Prior experience in leading large-scale data transformation initiatives.   •  Additional experience is desirable (i.e. python, pyspark,airflow, etc) Work Environment  •  Hybrid work model with 3 days onsite per week in Detroit, MI.  •  Collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement. What You’ll Bring  •  Strategic mindset with the ability to align data architecture with business goals.  •  Strong leadership and communication skills.  •  Passion for modernizing data ecosystems and driving technical excellence.
