Local Class A Truck Driver

Job Description Job Title: Class A CDL Driver - Roll Off Trailer and Wide LoadLocation: West Point, VirginiaPay: $28+hr  (performance based pay as well) - OT after 40hrsSchedule• Monday – Friday• Start time at 6:30 AM• End time around 5:30pm• Averaging 50 - 60 hours per week Position Overview & Key Responsibilities • Drive a Class A CDL Roll-Off Trailer - these will be wide loads of floor and roof trusses. • Complete 3 - 4 delivery stops per day• Run mostly local routes within a 100 mile radius• Safely unload materials using a Roll-Off trailer and at times by hand but this is infrequent• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain DOT compliance• Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following company safety procedures Qualifications/Requirements• Valid Class A license required• Valid DOT Medical Card required• Open to taking and training newly licensed drivers• Experience operating a Roll-Off and Wide Loads are preferred• Ability to safely lift 50lbs - will strap and secure but it is mostly a hands off position• Strong work ethic and ability to work independentlyBenefits• Medical Insurance• Dental Insurance• Vision Insurance• Paid Overtime OpportunitiesEqual Employment Opportunity Statement:Pace Driver’s, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
