Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Telemetry (Orthopedic)Job Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)Shift: Day Shift - 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)Desired Location: Columbia, South CarolinaPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) with orthopedic experience for a 13-week assignment. The RN will provide care to patients in a specialized orthopedic spine unit, managing post-surgical and medical conditions in a fast-paced clinical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver direct patient care in a MS/Telemetry orthopedic unitMonitor and assess patients with post-surgical, cardiac, and medical conditionsAdminister medications including Heparin drips and post-procedural careProvide care for patients undergoing spinal surgeries and orthopedic proceduresMaintain accurate documentation within EMR systemsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapy and pain managementEnsure compliance with patient safety and infection control standardsRequired QualificationsMinimum 1 year of RN experienceActive South Carolina RN License or Multistate Compact LicenseBLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Certifications requiredMinimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experienceOrthopedic experience required
