Lecturer-Batten (Faculty Wage)

The Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia is seeking applications for part-time lecturers interested in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses during the academic year. Candidates should be capable of teaching core or elective courses on major policy issues or leadership skills. A graduate degree, a record of publication, excellence in teaching, and/or public service in government, non-profit, or for-profit organizations are highly desirable. Compensation will be in the form of wages.Built upon the foundation of a top public university, the Batten School offers rigorous policy analysis training combined with leadership skills development and an understanding of contemporary public policy. The faculty includes economists, political scientists, psychologists, and practitioners with real-world policy experience. The School offers the MPP degree, an accelerated MPP program, undergraduate majors and minors, and dual degrees with UVA's Darden School of Business (MPP/MBA), School of Law (MPP/JD), and others.
