Pediatric Home Health Nurse (RN)

SHIFT OPEN: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Overnights 7p-7a. Peeking enthusiastic and caring nurses who will see the patient in their home. We have PEDIATRIC patients all over Houston, Spring, Katy, Wharton, Cypress, Sugarland, Baytown, Richmond, and more! Pay will be discussed upon hiring. MUST HAVE TRACH AND VENT EXPERIENCE OR OPEN TO LEARN! Responsibilities Provide in-home care to establish individualized care plans, re-certification, evaluation, and supervisory visits. Develop and maintain a relationship by educating patients and caregivers on disease processes, medications, individualized treatment plans and plans of care, and promoting self-advocacy and independence. Provide skills evaluations for new staff during orientation process. Utilize state-of-the-art technology to timely document, process and maintain all documentation in compliance with agency standards utilizing the electronic medical record keeping system. Qualifications Tracheostomy and Ventilation care experience Must hold an active license in Texas, as a Nurse. Must have a working knowledge of home healthcare, and the principles and techniques of professional nursing, and required documentation that pertains to it Should be skillful in organization, and in the principles of time management, and have knowledge of management processes Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour Work Location: In person
