Physical Therapist - Paso Robles, CA

A licensed Physical Therapist position is available at a well-established outpatient rehabilitation clinic on California's scenic Central Coast. Paso Robles offers a relaxed lifestyle with plentiful outdoor activities, high-quality dining, and cultural events, making it an excellent place to live and work.Responsibilities:Evaluate and treat patients through comprehensive physical therapy and rehabilitation plansUtilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for documentation including evaluations, reports, and discharge summariesSupervise PT Assistants and Aides in all aspects of patient careCollaborate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure optimum patient outcomesMaintain accurate patient chart documentation and manage follow-ups on prescriptions and authorizationsUphold HIPAA policies and confidentiality standards strictlyPerform physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds and assisting patients with mobility and transfersParticipate in the practice's marketing and referral initiatives as neededQualifications & Experience:Degree in Physical Therapy and active or soon-to-be active state licensure for CaliforniaStrong computer skills, including EMR proficiencyFamiliarity with Medicare, workers' compensation, private insurance billing, and DX/ICD-10 codingAbility to make independent clinical decisionsExperience supervising staff within a therapy setting preferredCommitment to ongoing continuing educationSchedule:Preferred 4-day workweeks with 9-hour shifts plus one 4-hour shift (4x9s & 1x4 schedule)Job Type:Contract position with potential for extension or conversionThis role offers an engaging professional environment with opportunities to advance clinical skills and contribute to quality patient care on California's beautiful Central Coast.
