Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to lead efforts in redesigning current manufacturing methods and retrofitting existing equipment. You will play a vital role in specifying new equipment and creating custom quality gage designs. Collaborate with various organizational levels to deliver solutions that meet quality, productivity, maintenance, safety, and ergonomic goals.Responsibilities+ Guide efforts to redesign current manufacturing methods.+ Retrofit existing equipment.+ Assist in the specification of new equipment.+ Create custom quality gage designs.+ Partner with all levels of the organization to deliver solutions that meet quality, productivity, maintenance, safety, and ergonomic goals.Essential Skills+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.+ 5+ years of related mechanical design experience.+ 2+ years of experience with 3D CAD modeling.+ Experience with dimensional engineering and tolerance analysis.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Design for manufacturing experience.+ Familiar with process FMEA analyses.+ Skilled in the creation of quality systems and gage system design.+ Familiar with work instructions and process documents.+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.+ Quick learner with a high level of ambition and drive.+ Strong people skills, able to work in a highly collaborative team environment.+ Hands-on practical manufacturing experience.+ Fenestration experience is a plus.Work EnvironmentYou will work in an office environment and cross-functionally with the manufacturing team and production floor.
