*PriorityWorkforce is hiring!* *We are offering Part-time, weekly pay and temp-to-hire job opportunities!* We are a Logistics company, hiring for a Shipping & Receiving in the city of Commerce, CA! *Must have Freight Forwarding Logistics Experience* *Job title*: Shipping & Receiving *Job location: *Commerce, Ca *Schedule*: Monday to Friday * *1st shift*: 9:00am - 5:00pm *Pay rate*: $19.00 *Job Description:* * Receive incoming freight and verify shipments against documentation. * Inspect shipments for quantity, condition, and discrepancies. * Prepare outgoing shipments for pickup and delivery. * Pick, pack, label, and stage orders for shipment. * Assist with warehouse inventory control and maintain accurate inventory records. * Enter and update shipment and inventory information in computer systems. * Track merchandise as it moves through receiving, storage, fulfillment, and distribution. * Assist with order fulfillment and distribution activities. * Coordinate with warehouse personnel, drivers, carriers, and other team members to ensure shipments are handled accurately and on time. * Assist with freight consolidation, cross-docking, and other warehouse activities as needed. * Maintain organized storage areas and follow company safety procedures. * Report damaged merchandise, shortages, overages, or other shipment discrepancies. * Follow established procedures for handling domestic and international freight. * Support customer orders and logistics operations while maintaining accuracy and accountability. *Requirements:* * Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, or distribution experience preferred. * Ability to accurately handle shipping and receiving documentation. * Basic computer and data-entry skills. * Ability to read and follow written instructions. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials. * Reliable attendance and punctuality. * Forklift experience or certification is a plus. *All new hires must complete a PW Employment Application at www.priorityworkforce.com* Pay: From $19.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Vision insurance Experience: * Freight Forwarding: 2 years (Required) * Shipping & Receiving: 2 years (Required) * Basic computer and data-entry: 1 year (Required) Language: * Must be Bilingual; Spanish / English (Required) Work Location: In person
