Inspector

*Summary* Responsible for ensuring the Company provides quality repair and inspection services to Customers with the ability to prepare tools and equipment for inspections, sandblasting of equipment, assembly, reassembly, painting, and that all tools and equipment meet the Company quality assurance standards before leaving the facility. *Functional Responsibilities* * Unload incoming tools and equipment. * Ability to operate a forklift following certification. * Ensures Tools/Equipment/Spare Parts for Jobs meet quality standards. * Maintain order and housekeeping of his/her responsible work areas and facility. * Maintain all equipment staging areas to ensure proper utilization of each area. * All incoming equipment must be PM’d (Preventive Maintenance Check) before being placed in storage for reuse. * Ability to comprehend preventive maintenance documents. * Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of the location and how to read a Materials Safety Data Sheet book. * Must be willing to learn key metrics. * Must be willing to learn all equipment, tools, and repairs, as well as SOPs. * Ability to disassemble, assemble, wash, prep, sandblast, and paint the equipment. * Ability to identify preventive measures for equipment and tools to eliminate additional unnecessary costs. * Ability to perform safely and effectively as a productive member of the Team. * Complies with Company Policy(s), Practices and Regulations * Ensure Personal Training is Up-To-Date * Other duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor *Required Skills* * Experience – Entry * Computer skills with the ability to work successfully off of an iPad. * Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or government regulations. * Mathematical Skills - Basic Skills – Ability to read measurements and learn key metrics. * Reasoning Skills - Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. * Multi-tasking skills *Required Knowledge* * Preferred knowledge of industry/service line/field equipment and tools * Mechanical aptitude *License and Certification * * Valid Driver's License *Physical Demands* * This job requires frequent moderate to heavy work. * Ability to work in a 24/7 (on call) environment. Ability to work extended hours when production requires overtime. * Employee will be exposed to moderate to high noise and the potential of chemicals and fumes or gasses in a shop environment or on location, if necessary. * Employee will stand or walk 75% of the time and frequently be asked to bend, squat, reach or climb.
