Together, we can make a difference while building a rewarding career!JEO's Traffic & Technology department is seeking a Traffic & Technology Team Leader, where you will play a key role in shaping and growing our traffic engineering group. This role offers the opportunity to join a traffic engineering team in Omaha and contribute to project delivery, client engagement, and business development efforts throughout the region. You will be supported by a strong team of multidisciplinary professionals, enabling you to lead successful projects that exceed client expectations.Responsibilities and Duties Lead and manage traffic engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery that meets scope, schedule, and budget expectationsOversee and mentor a project team, providing guidance, technical oversight, and performance managementManage multiple clients and concurrent projects, maintaining proactive communication and responsivenessDevelop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.Support client management efforts, identify project opportunities, and collaborate in business development activitiesPrepare project proposals, scopes, schedules, and cost estimates for a wide variety of transportation and traffic initiativesLead technical traffic analyses for highways, arterial streets, and multimodal facilities using relevant software and analysis methodologiesPrepare high-quality reports, deliverables, and presentations demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skillsDevelop Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) alternatives, staging, and plans to safely manage traffic during constructionPrepare design and construction documents for permanent signing, pavement markings, traffic signals, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and communication infrastructure in accordance with MUTCD and applicable agency standardsManage project budgets, schedules, bids, contracts, and funding documentationRequired Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in civil engineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) license10+ years' experience working in the engineering industry on transportation projects including traffic operations, traffic safety, transportation planning and transportation design elementsPreferred Qualifications and Skills Experience with ITS and traffic designPTOE certificationWith offices throughout the Midwest, JEO is proud to offer a robust benefits package designed to support and protect our employees and their loved ones.
