General Warehouse Associate

Job Description Full Time Material Handler Needed (New Hope)Small company in the New Hope area, is looking for additional help in our warehouse. We distribute lawn & garden products, decorative shelving, staircase & railing systems to independent retailers, throughout the United States. We need someone to handle all movement of products at our fast-paced warehouse.Responsibilities for Material Handler· Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and productsMove materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and packing areasPrepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, and packing themOperate reach trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to move freightAssist with cycle countsComply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelinesQualifications for Material HandlerHigh school diploma or equivalent3-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment preferredCertification to ride forklift truck preferredMust be able to work well in a teamAbility to read, write, and to follow instructions, and work independentlyAbility to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials up to 70 lbs.Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer softwareHours are 7:30 am to 4 pm
