Job Description Join Our Team as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse PractitionerWe are actively looking for dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey.Important Note: Clinicians must hold a valid license and reside in the state where they will be providing services.CompensationThis position operates on a Fee for Service (W2) basis, with an annual salary ranging from $71,000 to $102,000, depending on a commitment of 15-20 clinical hours each week.Clinical PracticesTo ensure the safety and well-being of both our clinicians and clients during telemedicine sessions, we do not promote or incentivize the use of stimulant medications. Instead, these are offered based on the specific symptoms and diagnoses of clients, with prescribing decisions made at the clinician's discretion. We do not currently address substance use disorders and will refer clients to in-person providers for severe symptoms that cannot be managed through telemedicine alone.ResponsibilitiesProvide care to a diverse clientele experiencing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more.Work with various age groups, primarily focusing on adults and adolescents, with plans to expand services across all age ranges.Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients in both in-person and telemedicine formats.Develop and collaborate on care plans with clients.Complete necessary paperwork and utilize assessment tools for client evaluations.Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across different locations.QualificationsMust be a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Board Certification.A Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state is required.Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous.While three years of experience is preferred, a minimum of one year in psychiatric practice is mandatory.Part-time availability of 15-20 hours per week is required.All clinicians must complete in-house training on ADHD treatment standards and guidelines, followed by a brief examination.New hires will be enrolled in the ADHD Clinic and are expected to treat ADHD clients, but there are no quotas for client numbers or prescriptions.What We OfferWe are committed to supporting our employees and empowering them to excel, allowing them to focus on delivering exceptional care to our clients.
