Radiology Physician Job Details Position Type: Locum tenens (travel contract) Location: Hazard, Kentucky (Zip: 41701) Healthcare Setting: Regional Medical Center, Trauma Level III Department Beds: 350 Patient Encounters Per Shift: 15 Hours Per Week: 36 Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts Contract Duration: 13 weeks (option to extend) Start Date: ASAP Estimated Weekly Salary: $6,350 - $7,520 Radiology Physician Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic radiology or nuclear medicine Board eligible or board certified in Radiology Active Kentucky physician license ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Radiology fellowship preferred Ability to complete hospital credentialing within 30 days Radiology Physician Responsibilities Interpret diagnostic imaging studies and deliver accurate, timely reports Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams Participate in department meetings and quality improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulatory standards Provide consultative support for nuclear medicine procedures Apply now to join our healthcare team in Hazard, Kentucky and make an impact in radiology!
