CARDIOLOGY NON-INVASIVE/ADVANCED HEART FAILURE & HEART TRANSPLANT PROGRAM OPPORTUNITY Banner University Medical Center Phoenix Banner University Medical Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitionerin our busy Advanced Heart Failure Program. Our NP will become an integral part of the growing Cardiovascular & Transplant Institutes within Banner University Medicine in Phoenix. The Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) is collaboration between Banner University Medical Center Phoenix and Banner Heart Hospital. Centers within the CVI include Center for Heart Rhythms, CAD, Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiovascular Health, Valvular and Vascular. All positions with the CVI are aligned with the integration of complex clinical care with teaching and research to support the vision of the Institute. Additionally in this role, there is further partnership with the Transplant Institute at Banner University Medicine Phoenix and Tucson. "Work schedule:Full Time | 4-10-hour shifts | week/weekend rotation call within APPs As a Nurse Practitioner, this position is involved in clinical management of patients, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescription of medications, education, consultation, and research. This position requires working closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care. Practice details and qualifications include: NP will work with the Advanced Heart Failure team NP experience required; New Grads considered if have Heart Failure Experience Inpatient & Outpatient experience desired Current Board Certification and Current Arizona License Current BLS and ACLS certifications Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances BUMC-P is a nationally known academic medical center and the primary teaching facility of the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. BUMC-P is a 733 bed, Level 1 Trauma facility. As the largest and one of the most comprehensive tertiary care facilities in Arizona, it provides a full complement of subspecialties including cardiac care, transplant services, oncology, high-risk obstetrics, CARF certified stroke, head injury and general inpatient rehabilitation, epilepsy center, Alzheimers Institute, and outpatient clinics on campus in primary and specialty care.
