Duties and Responsibilities:
Independently operate assigned machine(s) to meet performance expectations.
Inspect products for proper dimensions, visible defects, and contamination in line with customer specifications.
Assemble corrugated cartons for packaging of finished product, place finished product into designated carton, keeping product free from contaminants.
Place cartons of finished product onto skids and seek assistance when needed to safely lift and move cartons.
Complete line clearance after each production run in a timely manner to facilitate the set-up of the next production run.
Additional duties as requested or assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
3+ months experience in machine operation.
High school diploma or GED preferred not required
Ability to use a standard calculator to perform basic calculations.
Basic math skills with ability to add, subtract, divide and multiply to calculate footage and linear footage
Ability to measure and interpret measurements with standard ruler to 1/16 of an inch
Ability to understand and communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to multitask to safely and effectively keep the machines running while also inspecting and packing products, keeping work area clean, and completing paperwork
Ability to stand and move about on a concrete floor throughout shift, perform repetitive motions, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 65 lbs. with assistance.

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
