Our customers and community members know that they can rely on us for Legendary Service and quality products.Job title: Millworks Contractor SalesPay: $48K - $64K salary combined with a performance-based commission structure, providing an on-target earnings potential of up to $150,000 annuallySchedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pmLocation: Spokane, WashingtonThe Millwork Contractor Salesperson executes all aspects of our sales call process and strategies, with primary focus on aggressive prospecting of new residential and commercial contractors. They will facilitate and coordinate business activities of accounts and executing PARR Sales initiatives. This position is responsible for cultivating relationships with builders, general contractors, and framers which supports our vision to be the supplier of choice.This person directly reports to either the Division Sales Manager. They will interact daily with customers and office staff.Duties And ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain professional relationships with customersVisit job sites to handle any issues that arise and ensure final plans are accurately measuredRead and interpret building plans provided by customersMaintain detailed records and reports of related information on a job-to-job basis.Precisely and efficiently manage their time and prioritize workflow in fast paced environmentCommunicate with dispatch to ensure that they are not overpromising deliveries to customersAccurately take in plans and submit details to the MES and/or EWPUse delivery schedule to ensure customer satisfactionFollow guidelines for proper GP%Keep an elevated level of follow-through with orders – ensure inventory arrives, communicate with customers, etc.Proactively set, reach for, and meet (or exceed) personal sales and profit goalsCommunicate with wide number of customers in Residential Construction industry and help to sell and manage the timely flow of Suburban Door products to their jobsiteDemonstrate understanding of PARR’s Mission, Vision, and FACE Values dailyPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent2 years sales experience preferredPrior experience in the building materials industry preferredMust be able to operate personal computer, smartphone, scanner, and any other equipment necessary for the jobProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to speak, write, and read English requiredClass C driver’s license and must have and maintain a good driving record requiredProven ability to develop relationships that translate into new businessAbility to execute selling strategies and initiativesBeing prepared for individual and group sales meetingsAbility to meet or exceed aggressive sales goalsMust be flexible to different personality types and work habits, knowing that goals may be achieved in diverse waysAbility to concentrate and address detail amidst a busy office environmentWillingness to share department responsibilities to meet deadlinesInterpersonal SkillsAbility to work cordially, professionally, diplomatically and with an elevated level of customer service in a dynamic environment, selling quality and service, not just price.Demonstrate sound judgment in dealing with sensitive business matters with internal and external customers of all types. Communication can include, but is not limited to in-person (verbal and non-verbal), written, e-mail, telephone, and public speaking to medium size groupsAbility to function independently, as part of a team, and as a leader within your own sales cohort with a cheerful outlook, strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.Dealing effectively with occasional difficult customers.Ability to appropriately handle stress and interact with other.Working ConditionsThe working conditions for the outside sales position are divided between time in an office with a desk and being out interacting with potential and current customers.
