Our associates celebrate lives. We celebrate our associates.This supervisor position provides administrative assistance and oversees the daily duties and staff for the Monument Processing Center. The position requires managing the process of orders in variable stages and reporting deficiencies to market leadership. This includes supervising designated Monument Processor Specialists, insuring completion / delivery of open orders, coordination activities with cemeteries, vendors, customer and SCI associate stakeholders, periodic progress and revenue reporting, maintaining and updating the Monument Tracking System (MTS) and providing ongoing associate training for the program.Job ResponsibilitiesMonument Processing Supervisor Coordinate completion of monument and inscription orders with cemeteries, customers and vendorsScan open and complete hardcopy work orders into paperless Monument Tracking SystemAssist with resolving order problems with funeral directors, cemeteries, vendors & customers Work with market leadership, implementing best practices and championing management processesSupervisionTrain Monument Processor Specialists to ensure associates understand and comply with Standard Operating Procedures and PolicesCommunicate daily status of work ordersAddress escalated issues Specialists are unable to resolveManage schedules and priorities of teamInterview, hire, mentor and provide ongoing feedback to staffReportingProvide Market Leaders monthly monument and inscription sales reportsPrepare and distribute monthly sales reports to Location ManagersPrepare and distribute weekly reports to Monument Sales Specialists & Monument Processing SpecialistsPrepare open order activity and productivity reports for Market Manager and SCI associate stakeholdersMonument Tracking System (MTS)Work with Corporate IT to maintain MTS Application systemServe as a liaison between Corporate and Airtable IT departmentsAssist IT teams in additional development and testing of MTS upgrades and improvementsUpdate cemetery data and pricing in MTS as neededTrainingSupply ongoing Processing and MTS training, including new upgradesProvide cemetery application process training and support to Monument Processing Team Assist Market Manager in developing and updating training materialsAccounting Print monthly commissions in MTS to verify accuracy against Automated commission processPrepare and distribute monthly commission reportsVerify and approve vendor invoicesSubmit vendor invoices for payment for all work in progress ordersMinimum RequirementsEducation High School diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related discipline, strongly preferredCertification/LicenseValid state driver’s license in good standingExperienceEight (8) years of office management experience in a customer service-related industryFive (5) years of experience working with multiple computer applications (Citrix application a plus)Five (5) years supervisory experienceKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesStrong computer skills and working knowledge of computer applications, MS programs and Citrix applications a plusDetailed oriented in dealing in an industry that is very paper intensive Effective and efficient oral and written communication skillsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and the ability to work under stringent timelinesAbility to work independently and as a team memberAbility to work with a variety of stakeholders, internal and externalAbility to work after business hours as needed to meet customer demandsAbility to work with a sense of urgency to resolve problems quicklyProven time management and organizational skillsWORK CONDITIONS Work EnvironmentWork mostly indoors during all seasons and weather conditionsLimited amount of local travel requiredComply with Field dress code policyWork PosturesSitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per dayClimbing stairs to access buildings occasionallyPhysical DemandsPhysical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usageWork HoursWorking beyond “standard” hours as the need arisesTravel up to 20%Pay$25.00-$30.00/hrBenefitsMedical*Dental*Vision*Flexible Spending Accounts (health care and dependent care)*Health Savings Account with Company Contribution*Sick Leave*Short-Term Disability*Long-Term Disability*Life Insurance*Voluntary Accidental Death or Dismemberment Insurance*Dependent Life Insurance*SCI 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with Company match*Employee Assistance ProgramPostal Code: 11375Category (Portal Searching): Administration and ClericalJob Location: US-NY - Forest Hills
