Program Director - Hourly Regular Full-Time Management Corning, NY, US Requisition ID: 1932 Salary Range: $28.00 To $34.00 Hourly Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour (depending on related experience) General Summary of Duties: Directs the day-to-day operations of the Day Habilitation Program. A key component of the position includes positive daily interactions with staff and people served during program operations, lunch time and arrivals and departures to better understand, evaluate, and implement plans for the improvement of service delivery, staff skills and development needs, and overall program operations. Ensures quality program services are provided to the people served assuring compliance with regulations and agency policies, procedures and philosophy. Responsible for supervision of staff assuring adequate staffing exists to provide programming, also ensuring staff are well trained, perform duties as assigned, and in compliance with policies and agency philosophy. Ensures physical space is well maintained and safe and that the program operates within its budget. Provides role modeling and observes activities routinely to assure proper implementation. Responsible for assuring staff is implementing active programming and all activities are age appropriate, offer variety and creativity and community integration opportunities. Education and Experience: Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in human service field, including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation, counseling, psychology or a bachelor’s degree to qualify as QIDP. Three (3) year’s work experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and one (1) year supervisory work experience. Minimum Requirements: Associate’s Degree – from an accredited program in the human services field, including but not limited to sociology, education, psychology, recreation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, etc. Three (3) years’ work experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and five (5) years management/supervisory experience, OR High school diploma, five (5) years’ work experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and five (5) years management/supervisory experience. A current, valid driver’s license and Agency insurability is required. Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm Full-Time #J-18808-Ljbffr
