Title: Patient RegistrarLocation: San Mateo, CADuration: 3 months with possible extension Shift: 08:00 - 17:30 (M-F) Job Description:At least 1 year of experience working in Ambulatory Care in Primary Care clinics.The current need is to support Adult, OB-GYN, Pediatrics, and Geriatric primary care clinics.Duties: Register patients for their visits, assist patients walking into the clinicCollaborate with other members of the Care Team, verify patient’s coverageFamiliarity with Medi-Cal (Medicaid) and Medicare preferredSchedule appointments, ask pertinent questions during registrationCreating messages in the EMRDocumenting in electronic medical recordsAnswering phones. The clinics are busy, fast paced, so need to be able to do multiple tasks simultaneously.Bilingual in Spanish Strongly Preferred
