Senior Software ArchitectONSITE Coppell, TXOur client is seeking a Senior Software Architect to join the Enterprise Architecture team and drive the design and delivery of cloud-native, highly scalable enterprise applications. This role is focused on architecting modern, microservices-based solutions with Microsoft Azure as the preferred cloud platform. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to align technology solutions with business strategy in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.Responsibilities & QualificationsArchitect and design cloud-native, enterprise-scale software solutions aligned with business strategyLead and implement microservices-based architectures for complex business applicationsEvaluate existing systems, development strategies, and recommend architectural improvementsDevelop system architecture models, standards, and reference implementationsDrive cloud adoption efforts, including migration of custom applications to AzureDefine compliance architecture approaches (data storage, metadata management, change control)Support build-vs-buy decisions and mentor development teams on architectural best practicesCollaborate with business and technology stakeholders to design scalable business process workflowsContribute to high-quality, on-time delivery of customer-facing software initiativesProvide architectural documentation, training, and ongoing solution supportStay current with emerging technologies across cloud platforms, DevOps, security, databases, and software architectureRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)5+ years of experience in software architecture and system designStrong experience with Microsoft technologies (.NET 8, C#, ASP.NET, Web API, Azure Services)Experience architecting and developing modern Web UIs (Angular, React)Deep knowledge of architectural and design patterns, including event-driven and distributed systemsHands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline designStrong understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud modelsExperience with relational and NoSQL databasesExcellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, on-site environmentMust be eligible to convert to full-time employment without sponsorship
