Lead CNC Programmer

We are currently restructuring and looking to hire an experienced Lead CNC Programmer for Aerospace and Defense industry located in Pacoima, CA. An ideal candidate would be someone with at least 5 years of experience as a CNC programmer and is passionate and willing to grow with the company. Description: We are seeking a CNC Programmer who will take a leadership role in programming the machines as well as being a team player. The candidate will have to work in-person at the shop located in Pacoima. Candidate will be responsible for writing new CNC programs, setup instructions, and making changes to existing CNC programs. May be responsible for creating and maintaining Job Travelers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Review of drawings, data, and engineering required to successfully program machining to customer requirements * Develops new CNC programs and related documentation * Performs set-ups, and/or provides technical support for CNC production machines * Troubleshoots machining problems * Supports team environment throughout all production processes * Using inspection tools to verify dimensions Skills: CNC programming and machining, Set ups, Mastercam, Solidworks, Blueprint reading, CNC mill, CNC lathe, aerospace, Precision measuring tools, first article inspection, in-process inspection, Catia. Location: Pacoima, CA Shift /pay: Weekly Pay Shift: Mon-Fri 7:00am- 3:00pm/ $20-$35 depending on experience. Annual 2 week-long holiday company closure, plus company paid holidays.
