UI / Visual Designer – Design Systems

A remote contract opportunity is available for experienced UI and visual designers with a strong background in Figma and design systems.The work includes reviewing existing interfaces, explaining design decisions, working with component libraries, and creating polished UI mockups in Figma. Pay: $90–$140 USD per hour Location: Remote Contract type: Independent contractorWhat you’ll be doing• Review UI designs and point out visual or usability issues • Explain design choices and suggest improvements • Work with existing design systems and component libraries • Create and refine UI mockups in Figma • Apply strong typography, spacing, color, and visual hierarchy • Make sure designs work well across different screen sizes • Document design decisions clearly • Consider accessibility and usability when reviewing designsPreferred qualifications• 3+ years of experience in UI, visual, or product design • A strong portfolio of digital design work • Strong Figma skills • Experience with design systems and component libraries • Good understanding of typography, color, layout, and responsive design • Ability to explain design decisions clearly in writing • Strong written English • Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG is a plusPrevious AI experience is not required.
