Job Title: Litigation Associate AttorneyLocation: Houston, TXJob Type: Full TimePosition Overview:Seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with litigation experience to join its growing Houston office. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation, analytical, and advocacy skills, with experience independently managing cases from inception through resolution. Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of complex commercial litigation matters from inception through trial or settlementConduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documentsPrepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and court appearancesTake and defend depositionsCommunicate regularly with clients and provide meaningful case updatesDevelop litigation strategies and negotiate settlementsCollaborate with attorneys and partners on various litigation projectsEnsure compliance with all applicable legal standards, procedures, and regulationsPerform administrative and case management responsibilities related to litigation practiceQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolActive admission to the State Bar of Texas and in good standingPersonal Injury experience is required.
