The Caster Room Production Assembler is responsible for is responsible for the efficient production of Aero-Casters. This position requires a very careful adherence to well-defined work where repeatable results are needed. The work is highly precise in nature and requires a very strong attention to detail. Much of the work can be accomplished by working at a steady, even pace. There is consistency and familiarity from one day to the next. The successful candidate will have excellent fine motor skills and be a team player. This position reports to the Caster Room Production Manager.

DUTIES:
Follow detailed manufacturing instructions and procedures, both written and verbal.
Cut fabric, silk screen materials, and paint adhesives.
Operate machinery.
Perform in-process inspections and complete check lists.
Industrial sewing.
Wrap small and medium casters (up to 36”).
Use of various hand tools and tape measurers.
Promote a positive work environment by modeling AeroGo core values.
Other job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Good hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills.
Paint room experience preferred but not required.
Ability to read and understand written instructions in English.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively across departments while building trusted relationships and positively influencing others.

HOURS
Shift hours are 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Employees have the option of working a 9/80 schedule, meaning they work 9 hours Monday – Thursday, 8 hours on Friday and take every other Friday off work. Occasional overtime is required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This an hourly, non-exempt position with starting pay range of $23.10 – $25.00 per hour depending on experience. There is an annual profit share bonus for meeting production goals.

Employees who select the HSA medical plan will receive $60 / month in employer contributions to a Health Savings Account to use on qualified medical expenses.
This position is represented by the Air Cushion Workers Union. Members are required to be in “good standing”.

Physical Requirements
The position requires working in a factory environment which may include hot, cold, or noisy conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Also required is the ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders and stairs, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool, as necessary. Must be able to walk extended distances over uneven ground while wearing proper PPE.
